The goal of this activity is:

     (1) an opportunity to discuss and share with others how your school manages your computer lab

     (2) Become familiar the skills of using a wiki and possible future uses for this sort of application for the classroom

Discuss these prompts. One person from your group will write a few notes as you discuss the following: 

• How are classes using your school computer lab?

Teachers sign up a  month in advance for use of the computer lab.

• What special tips do you have for managing your lab for other schools? (e.g - Possible tips to share: How does your school assure maintenance and security? Who is responsible for for management? How does your school ensure equity and accessibility to the lab for all classes?)

A sign up book allows an opportunity for teachers to access the computer lab.  Accountability system for the student users is strongly advised.  Teachers are responsible for the activities in the lab.

• What might be a few concerns or issues about your lab that your school is still working on solutions to solve?

Afew concerns about the lab is equal access for every teacher to be able to utilize the computer lab.
