Computer Lab Set-up Tips for Your School

Use your wiki page to discuss and brainstorm the set up for your school for each of the areas below. This will be the beginning of a plan for your school site.

 

Organization

Lab set up:  arranged for easy access, each computer uniquely labeled, students assigned to a computer

 Lincoln's new PC lab is already set up.  Computers are arranged on round tables with 6 computers per table.

The computers are in a secure lab.  Lab use is by teacher sign up only.  Computers are securely locked down.

What system does everyone routinely use to report hardware or software issues as they arrise?

Blue form, note in technician's mailbox or call to administrator.

Gettign large numbers fo pople to compolete surveys often seems like an impossible mission! Good job.

Yes, that was very helpful. I filled out the survey at our first meeting, but I need to review it so that I can keep it up to date.
