The goal of this activity is:

     (1) an opportunity to discuss and share with others how your school manages your computer lab

     (2) Become familiar the skills of using a wiki and possible future uses for this sort of application for the classroom

Discuss these prompts. One person from your group will write a few notes as you discuss the following: 

• How are classes using your school computer lab?
• Web searches
• Google docs - class can edit and access the days lessons
• digital storytelling project
• music in the pm - dedicated math and science lab/

• What special tips do you have for managing your lab for other schools? (e.g - Possible tips to share: How does your school assure maintenance and security? Who is responsible for for management? How does your school ensure equity and accessibility to the lab for all classes?)
  • we have special lock for the room,
  • maintain a calander for the dedicated math lab that is found on school website. 
  • Part Time Staff Member for Tech Support

• What might be a few concerns or issues about your lab that your school is still working on solutions to solve?
• We need to have remote access training, more apps for every subject, how to use cross curricular resources, need better infrastracture for example we have 2 T1 lines coming into the school and we need minimum 10 GB fiber optic line....
